    Gannon’s Pirosko earns PSAC’s Pete Nevins Scholar-Athlete Award

    ERIE, PA (WJET)–Former Gannon women’s basketball standout Sam Pirosko has been named the winner of the PSAC’s Pete Nevins Scholar-Athlete Award.

    She becomes the first Gannon female student athlete to win the award.

    The conference has awarded the honor to one female and one male student athlete each year dating back to 1991.

    Eligible student athletes must attain at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and must have been recognized as a conference fall, winter or spring top-10 award winner.
