(Red Oak) The Red Oak Police Department arrested 56-year-old Richard James Linfor, of Red Oak, Friday evening on a Pottawattamie County warrant for Escape from Custody. Linfor was transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he is awaiting transfer to Pottawattamie County.
Saturday severe storms could bring hail, high winds
HASTINGS, Neb. — Central Nebraska could be in for another day of severe weather. The National Weather Service lists the area in a slight chance for severe weather, which is the second out of five risk stages. NWS officials say a round of thunderstorms on Saturday could bring golf-ball size hail and wind gusts over 60 mph. Tornadoes are not likely with these storms.

IRS data: Iowans flocking to states with no state income tax
