    PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — It was a history-making night for Eureka’s Tyler Heffren on Monday in Champaign.

    The senior scored 19 points at St. Thomas More and became his school’s all-time scoring leader in a 53-46 loss to the Sabres. Heffren, who now has 1,749 points in his high school career, passed former EHS and Bradley University player Jordan Prosser for the record.

    Other boys basketball winners included Limestone and Lewistown. Girls basketball winners on Monday included Normal Community, Central Catholic, Deer Creek-Mackinaw, Tri-Valley, Illini Bluffs, Elmwood and Peoria Heights.
