HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A bench warrant has been issued for one of two men charged with fraud after authorities say he distributed counterfeit $20 bills to multiple businesses in Evansville.

Campanella Ford III was scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on July 10, but officials say he did not show up. He is charged with six counts of forgery in connection with counterfeit bills that were used as payment at businesses in the North Park area in December.

Authorities say Ford and Isiah Holt were connected to the case after authorities located a suspect’s car on Facebook. Evansville Police say at least 78 counterfeit $20 bills were passed at more than 32 Evansville businesses on December 6.
