Here is a map of all the available free parking on weekends in downtown Troy: https://www.troymarket.org/location (On that web page linked above, there's even a video showing people how to drive to the Fifth Ave Parking Garage, which typically has more than 100 available spots during peak market hours and is a two block walk to the market). There is an abundance of empty parking spaces along the city streets within TWO (2) and THREE (3) blocks of the market entrances to the EAST, SOUTH, and NORTH of the market. Parking is FREE on weekends on City-owned streets, lots and garages (check signage). RPI recently permitted market customers to park in one of their lots on Sixth Ave, as well, which is three blocks from the market, straight down Fulton or Broadway. (For now, that is ONLY during the month of July and there are special signs indicating that it is permissible to park there during market hours. ONLY park there if you see the signs welcoming you to do so). But you can also park on Sixth Ave. (the street), which is wide open on Saturdays. It's also very easy to get to the market via CDTA on major routes, which stop immediately adjacent to the market.
