Saint Louis alumnus and Ewa Beach native Tua Tagovailoa was recently featured on a recent Make-A-Wish segment on ESPN’s ‘SportsCenter.’

Tagovailoa, who is entering his fifth year as the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, met up with 15-year-old Yisroel Weberman, who is currently suffering from Niemann-Pick disease and is in need of a liver transplant.

Weberman, a Florida native who has three posters of Tagovailoa in his room, was granted a wish to spend a day with his favorite team and player.

Weberman was signed to a one-day contract by the Dolphins and spent the day around the team’s practice facility. His family was greeted by legendary former Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino and given a bevy of gear. He also played catch with Tagovailoa, throwing a pass as far as 20 yards.

The full segment can be seen on ESPN’s YouTube channel.
