Massachusetts attorney accused of smuggling paper soaked in drugs into Rhode Island prison
CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. — A Massachusetts attorney and three others are accused of conspiring to smuggle drugs into a Rhode Island prison, federal prosecutors announced. Theresa M. DiJoseph, 50, of Woburn is charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, providing a prohibited object to an inmate, and making a false statement, according to United States Attorney for Rhode Island Zachary A. Cunha.
