It truly lives up to its reputation as a college town! 😂 This place is a real treasure, perfect for anyone passing through Oregon on a road trip and in need of satisfying their cravings. You can also swing by Day & Night for a bubble tea - talk about comfort! 🍉 The authenticity of the Chinese cuisine here is legit. We even packed up two dishes to enjoy later in Bend because we couldn’t face another meal of typical Western food this week. Dish Recommendations: 🥩 Szechuan Beef and Tripe Salad ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Despite the lack of tripe, there are no flaws here. The beef slices are generous and the chili oil is fragrant. 🍲 Dry Pot Pork Intestine ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The pork intestine is clean and crispy, with plenty of vegetables. This dish is basically my benchmark for judging Chinese food. I was shoveling it down! 😖 🦆 Spicy Duck Blood and Offal ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The duck blood is super tender, and there’s a good amount of beef and pork intestines too. Especially the beef - it’s not those thin, easily crispy slices but marinated tender cuts. Extra points for that! 😍 🍆 Iron Pot Eggplant ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It actually comes as a sizzling iron plate eggplant. The large, breaded pieces are very satisfying to eat. 🍖 Green Beans Stewed with Pork Ribs ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A solid Northeastern Chinese dish.
