North Liberty Explosion Injures Several Including a Firefighter
An explosion at a commercial building in North Liberty resulted in several injuries, including a firefighter, according to a press release. The North Liberty Fire Department was called to the building at 390 Herky Street at 11 p.m. Monday night. When they arrived, they discovered multiple overhead doors hanging from the exterior of the building. The sprinkler system had been activated and the south wall was bowed out and the roof had lifted from the building, according to the news release. They also discovered one person suffering from serious burns.
