Three injured in RV crash on I-80 reunite with first responders who rescued them
TIFFIN, Iowa — Members of the Tiffin Fire Department reunited with three of the four people injured in a crash on I-80 last week. Three of the people in the RV crash were released from the hospital, and they brought their dog Bella with them to thank the crew members who responded to the incident.

Northeast Iowa Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash Near Oelwein
One man is dead following a two-vehicle weekend collision south of Oelwein. The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to the crash at about 12:30 pm Saturday (07.27) afternoon at the intersection of 130th Street and Indiana Avenue. A Buick LeSabre driven by 80-year-old Michael Puff of Oelwein was traveling east and a Chevy Equinox driven by 19-year-old Connor Jorgensen, also of Oelwein, was heading north when they collided.
Southeast Iowa Man Accused Of Attempting To Entice Multiple Minors
(Keokuk Co, IA) -- A southeast Iowa man is in custody accused of attempting to entice multiple underage girls. Police say from April 2024 through July 2024, 28-year-old Skyler Hartwig of What Cheer, Iowa, reached out to a girl who he believed was under the age of 16, sent her explicit photos and tried to get her to engage in sexual acts with him and another man.
