Feel That? Earthquake Rattles Parts Of Western Montana
Fireworks weren't the only thing shaking windows in western Montana as the Treasure State celebrated the 4th of July Holiday. Reports from the USGS (United States Geological Survey), say a 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred near Seely Lake at 4:46 early Friday morning. The earthquake was located 23 miles east, northeast of Seely Lake, and 48 miles from Missoula.

The trigger for angling closures typically happens when the temperature of a waterbody reaches 73 degrees F for three consecutive days.
