FHS Class of 2024 graduates

A total of 107 students walked the stage on Friday night, May 24, during the Fairfield High School Commencement Exercises at the Johnson Activity Center. The ceremony was moved indoors due to the weather.

Eashan Kalyanji gave the invocation and Lily Beaver followed with the salutatorian address.

FHS Principal Sonya Gibson was not able to attend due to unforeseen circumstances so Counselor Cindy Kirgan talked about the awards the Class of 2024 received as well as their mark made on FHS. Graduates received over $1.1 million in scholarships during their senior awards ceremony earlier in the month.

Avery Thaler gave the valedictorian address and FISD Superintendent Joe Craig did the presentation of the class.

FISD board of trustees presented the graduates with their diplomas. Madysen Farris gave the benediction.

Ushers for graduation were Suzune Awalt, Madelyn Morrison, Jimilyah Nash, Addison Posey, Jerry Draper, Joshua George, Dylon McGowan, and Landon Salinas.
