A New Jersey woman is spending the weekend in jail after State Troopers say she led them on 110 miles per hour chase along the Ohio Turnpike in Trumbull County. Trooper Rick Caraway tells 21 News he tried to pull over a Nissan Maxima doing 90 in a 70 mph stretch of the turnpike in Braceville Township Saturday afternoon.
3 people arrested after Akron police recover 3 loaded guns during traffic stop
Three people, including a teen, were arrested Wednesday night when guns were found in their vehicle during a traffic stop, Akron police said. Akron officers, who were patrolling at Copley and Diagonal roads around 10:50 p.m. found three guns in a car that was pulled over for a moving violation.
OVI checkpoints planned across Summit County after Fourth of July holiday
The upcoming sobriety checkpoints will be "across Summit County" from the evening of July 5 to the morning of July 6, according to a release from the task force.
