According to a criminal complaint, officers learned that Moore and the victim “were both present in the hot spot portion” of the bowling alley “when the two began to argue,” officers said.

The argument resulted in Moore and the victim leaving the building, where “a physical altercation ensued,” during which time, Moore “had drawn a fixed-blade knife with unlawful intent” and “stabbed [the victim] in the right side of [the] chest one time” and then Moore fled the scene after stabbing the victim, according to the complaint.

On Wednesday, Fairmont Police Chief Steve Shine told 12 News that the victim of the stabbing has a deflated lung but is expected to recover. As of Wednesday, the victim was in stable condition at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
