Fayetteville business owner calls for improved pedestrian safety after customer fatally struck by vehicle
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A Fayetteville man is worried about the safety of his customers who walk to his convenience store. Thierno Barry runs a gas station near Cliffdale Road and Bunce Road in Fayetteville. Many of his customers live in nearby neighborhoods, don’t have cars, and walk across four lanes of traffic on Cliffdale to the store. Multiple pedestrians have been hit while attempting to cross the road.
