    Water conservation in effect in East Fayetteville, Goshen

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. ( KNWA/KFTA ) — The City of Fayetteville Utilities Department is telling residential and commercial customers in east Fayetteville and Goshen to adjust their water usage.

    “Due to dry conditions and extreme heat, the city’s water system is experiencing increased demand, resulting in reduced water pressure for some customers,” city officials said in a news release.

    Residents and businesses on North Crossover Road , particularly in areas off Highway 45, East Mission Boulevard and Highway 16, East Huntsville Road.

    The release states that officials have placed restrictions on yard and landscaping irrigation to certain days and times of day:

    • Even-numbered addresses may irrigate between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
    • Odd-numbered addresses may irrigate between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
