FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fayetteville Animal Services says they are extending the shelter’s free adoption event, according to a social media post .

As part of the shelter’s “Big Summer Blowout”, they will waive all adoption fees now through July 6.

“We had a great turnout for our Big Summer Blowout last week — 39 pets are in new homes,” FAS posted earlier this week. ” It was so awesome, we decided to extend free adoption through Saturday, July 6.”

Horseshoe Bend Day Use area reopened at Beaver Lake ahead of holiday weekend

FAS is open for adoption from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Keep in mind you need to start the adoption process online where you can fill out an application before finding a pet.
