FLOWOOD, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Flowood police said a 19-year-old was arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run.
According to Flowood Police Chief Eric Zetterholm, the incident occurred on Lakeland Drive around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, August 3. He said officers received a call from a witness about a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle.
One dead, officer wounded in Clarksdale shootout When officers arrived at the location, they found a deceased man. The police chief identified the pedestrian as 19-year-old Quentin Bryant, of Flowood.
During the investigation, Zetterholm said police identified the suspect’s vehicle, which was stopped a couple of hours later in Scott County. The driver, 19-year-old Kaden Hannah, was arrested and charged with hit-and-run causing fatality.
