The North Carolina High School Athletic Association saw a 4.73 percent increase in overall participation during the 2023-2024 school from the previous year. East Carolina's football team has been picked to finish seventh in the 2024 American Athletic Conference preseason media poll, the league announced Tuesday at its annual media days event inside Loews Arlington in Arlington, Texas.
