MIAMI, OK – The Elkins Elks were in town Friday to battle up against the Miami Wardogs to kick off their 2024-25 regular seasons.

In the blink of an eye, the Elks had a dominating 10-0 lead.

To continue the momentum, quarterback Ben Napier found a wide open gap in the red zone to punch in another Elkins touchdown making the score 17-0.

Adding to that total, another run in from running back Jaquae Walden made the total 24-0 with eight minutes left in the first half.

Apparently, this wasn’t enough for the Elkins offense.

Seconds before the half was over,Landry Taylor receives the hand off, creates some space, and breaks two tackles to reach the endzone, extending the lead 31-0 to conclude the half.

The offense did not stop their as Elkins went on to defeat Miami 52-0.

On September 5th at 7pm, Miami will host Coral Reef, while Elkins matches up with Dardanelle at home.
