    Tulsa Police to host last free motorcycle skills course of the year

    TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department announced their last free motorcycle skills course of the year is coming up. The free motorcycle skills course will be on Saturday, Sept. 14. at Church on the Move ( 1003 N. 129th E. Ave ). Classes usually run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., TPD said. "This class is NOT designed to teach a person to ride that has never ridden," TPD said. "Some riding experience is required." TPD Motor Officers will work with riders to teach:
    • Clutch friction zone
    • Proper braking techniques
    • Cone patterns
    • Rules of the road
    Requirements:
    • Street legal motorcycle
    • Valid 'L' endorsed driver's license (Previously 'M')
    • Insurance
    • Helmet
    • Eye protection
    • Gloves
    • Long sleeve shirt
    • Boots that cover ankle
