47-year-old pedestrian killed in Laurel County I-75 crash

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A Corbin pedestrian was killed in a Laurel County crash that briefly closed I-75 southbound near mile marker 29.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 47-year-old James Zeo was hit after he crossed into the path of a Honda Oddesy.

Zeo was pronounced deceased at the scene, per authorities. The driver was uninjured.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the road was closed for over an hour but reopened.
