HENRY COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Henry County Emergency Services are urging parents and children to beware of a dangerous medicine being distributed in the area.

Henry County EMS took to Facebook to note that if a child has been prescribed Clonidine oral suspension and that prescription was filled at the MedSave in Eminence, parents should not give it to their children. The belief is, there was something wrong with the shipment.

    LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

Parents should watch for unconsciousness , unexplained crying, and a slow heart rate, among other symptoms, if the child has already taken the medicine.
