DENVER (KDVR) — A single-vehicle crash resulted in a gas leak in Aurora Saturday.

The Aurora Police Department told FOX31 that a car had crashed into a building, causing the leak.

Police said the leak is being mitigated and no one was taken to the hospital.

In the meantime, westbound Colfax Avenue is closed between Joliet Street and Ironton Street as crews are on the scene.

A spokesperson for Xcel Energy told FOX31 that the company’s equipment was damaged in the crash, and said crews are on the scene working to repair the leak. Xcel said service will be restored when it is safe to do so.
