Boulder city council member among 3 attacked, suspect arrested

DENVER (KDVR) — A Boulder city council member was among three people who were attacked before a suspect was arrested Friday.

The Boulder Police Department said the attack occurred at about 6:23 p.m. near 1120 13th St.

Three people, including city council member Tara Winer, were attacked, according to the police department . No one was injured.

“Motives for the attack are not known at this time and are under investigation,” the police department said in a post on X late Saturday.

Police said the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Chase Raskin, was arrested and taken to jail for felony menacing and two counts of third-degree assault.
