Pools opening across Piedmont Triad ahead of summer

(WGHP) — Summer swim season is just around the corner, and many pools and splash pads are just about to open all over the Piedmont Triad.

Check out the list below to see what’s opening up in your area.

Burlington

The Maynard Aquatic Center is already open.

The North Park Pool and the Splash Park open Saturday. All pools are fully staffed with lifeguards.

Forsyth County

The Peter S. Brunstetter Aquatics Center at Tanglewood will open Saturday at 11 a.m.

General Admission is $8 per person. Children ages three to five and seniors 55 years old and older get a $1 discount on admission. Children two and under get in for free.

Greensboro

Pools and spraygrounds will be admission-free this summer in Greensboro.

Outdoor Pools

Warnersville Pool

Weekend hours: May 25 to Sept. 2 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Weekday hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, June 11 to Aug. 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Windsor Pool

Weekend hours: May 25 to Sept. 2 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Weekday hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, June 10 to Aug. 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Spraygrounds

Barber Park and Keeley Park Spraygrounds

May 25 to September 2

Mondays through Saturdays: 11 am to 5:30 pm

Sundays: 1-5:30 pm

LeBauer Park Splash Pad

May 1 to September 30

Daily: 10 am to 8 pm

High Point

High Point City Lake Park and Washington Terrace Park will open on Saturday. All lifeguard positions are currently full as well as pool attendant positions, so the pools will be opening as planned.
