FOXBOROUGH, Mass - It wasn't the best showing for the offense on Sunday, but there were moments that truly stood out.

And once again, it was rookie receiver Javon Baker who was involved in the play.

After catching a 60 yard pass from Joe Milton III on Friday, Baker delivered during the team's first 1-on-1 drill of training camp.

Along with Baker's big play, there were also other important takeaways. So let's get into it.

    1. Javon Baker with the catch of the day

During 1-on-1s, Baker had a highlight reel catch, getting past cornerback Mikey Victor and grabbing a 50-yard pass from Jacoby Brissett.

After making the catch, he couldn't help but celebrate the big play. The fourth-round pick threw the ball up in the air, and the crowd went wild.

“Jacoby threw a great ball,” Baker said on the play after practice. “Just having fun with the fans and bringing new energy.”

    2. Offensive Tackles repeat

For the first time of training camp, the starting offensive line was the same as the practice before. Throughout the first four days, three players on the line have remained consistent: David Andrews at center, Sidy Sow at left guard, and Mike Onwenu at right guard.

But on Friday, Caedan Wallace started on the left side, while Chukwuma Okorafor was on the right. And on Sunday it was the exact same five to start the day.

    3. JuJu Smith-Schuster is struggling

After a very poor season in 2023, JuJu Smith-Schuster needed to come out at training camp swinging. However, he was clearly struggling on Sunday.

The receiver couldn't separate during 1-on-1s, only winning one of his four reps. Specifically, he couldn't haul in a perfectly placed ball from rookie quarterback Drake Maye, with cornerback Alex Austin knocking it away.

    4. Antonio Gibson, Kendrick Bourne return (sort-of)

Antonio Gibson appears to be a full go for practice, coming out in uniform and with his helmet. He took part in everything.

The running back was placed on the non-football injury list to start camp, but it appears he is off now.

As for Kendrick Bourne, the wide receiver came up for the start of practice for the first time of training camp. While he has made appearances to watch practice throughout the first three days, this time he came out in uniform and joined his teammates for warmups and stretch.

It's a good sign that Bourne is on the right path to getting back after suffering an ACL tear last season.

    5. New No. 75 at Practice

During arrivals, the media noticed that there was a new face at practice. A player in a dark blue jersey, wearing No. 75 came up the stairs.

And the team later announced that they signed defensive tackle Josiah Bronson.

    The mystery was solved.

    8. First Penalty Lap of Camp

    Some things never change.

While Bill Belichick was running training camp, any players who committed a penalty during scrimmages, whether it be false starts, offsides, etc., had to run a lap.

Mayo told reporters during camp that he planned to keep that going, and on Sunday he proved it.

Guard Layden Robinson false started and had to run a lap.

    9. Main Punt Returners

Marcus Jones, Jalen Reagor, Pop Douglas K.J. Osborn and Ja’Lynn Polk are coming out as the top punt returners for the team going into the season.

    10. FIGHT!

There was the first scuffle of training camp. It came after Antonio Gibson ran up the middle, and while it was tough to see who was directly involved, captain David Andrews was left without his helmet on. Clearly it wasn't that serious since nobody was ejected.
