CASPER, Wyo. – A global technology IT outage is impacting Wyoming operations on Friday. According to a social media post on Friday morning, WYDOT said the outage has taken down Driver Services, including issuing of IDs and drivers licenses. Their website is down, but their road info website is operational.

Despite Recent Gains, Wyoming Farmland Values Show Signs of Slowing
Farmland values in Wyoming have made modest gains over the past six months according to the latest Benchmark Farm Value Trends Report issued by Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) and Frontier Farm Credit. Values for Wyoming farmland have shown an average increase of 2.7% in the past six months and 5.1% in the past 12 months.

The National High School Finals Rodeo is moving on to the 2nd go-round in Rock Springs and the Wyoming girls team had a solid 1st go and sits in 2nd place behind Texas. Hadley Thompson of Yoder is currently 3rd in the girls all-around as she took 3rd in the 1st go of the goat tying in 7.09. She was 7th in the 1st go of the breakaway in 2.37 with Rhame Hicks of Gillette taking 6th in 2.36. Sheridan's Abagail Olson jumped to 3rd in the barrel racing with a run of 17.215. Kloe Nichols of Boulder was 9th in the 1st go. Caitlin Moore of Wright placed 5th in the first go-round of the pole-bending in 20.111 with Gillette's Abby Milburg 15th. Karly Peterson of Buffalo was 23rd in the girls cutting and Sydnee Roady of Worland was 38th in the reined cow horse event.
