Casper’s midcentury M Building to be featured 2024 Christmas ornament
CASPER, Wyo. — One of the most distinctive examples of Wyoming architecture will dress up Christmas trees this coming holiday season. According to a social media post from the City of Casper Historic Preservation Commission, the M Building at 234 E. Second St. has received the most votes in the commission’s Second Annual Historic Building Christmas Ornament Contest.

Atlas Theatre receives DDA grant to infill purposeless windows
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Historic Atlas Theatre has received a grant to remove windows that “no longer serve a purpose.”. On Thursday, the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority approved a Capital Improvement Grant for the Friends of the Atlas Board at its regular monthly meeting. The theater board requested a 50% match from the DDA for masonry work on the Atlas Theatre’s south side, according to a DDA staff report. The total cost of repairs is $8,800. The development authority awarded the Atlas board $4,400.
