EchoStar Opens New O-RAN Testing and Evaluation Lab with $50 Million Grant
EchoStar Corporation has opened the Open RAN Center for Integration and Deployment (ORCID), a state-of-the-art Open RAN (O-RAN) testing and evaluation lab housed at EchoStar's Cheyenne, Wyoming, data center. The facility, which is supported by a $50 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Public Wireless Supply Chain Innovation Fund (Innovation Fund), offers vendors the opportunity to test and validate O-RAN solutions using EchoStar's live commercial-grade cloud-native Open RAN network.
CY Avenue coffee shop a go after Casper Council changes zoning
CASPER, Wyo. — The rezoning of a strip of vacant land used as an unofficial entrance to a bowling alley and pub on CY Avenue can now be used for a coffee business. Joint powers board receives $200K to promote economic development
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — County leaders are again choosing to invest in the economic promotion and success of the county’s businesses. The Laramie County Board of County Commissioners approved a contract at its regular Tuesday meeting granting $200,000 to the Cheyenne/Laramie County Economic Development Joint Powers Board.
