Community Playhouse to present ‘Almost Maine’
Community Playhouse Inc. will present the play “Almost Maine” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, at the Oil City Moose Lodge. Tickets are $15 for the show or $30 for an optional Swiss steak dinner served before the performance. Reservations for the dinner are due by Monday, while show-only tickets can be purchased at the door. Directed by Bill Trimble, “Almost Maine” by John Cariani explores themes of love, friendship, and hope on a magical midwinter night. The cast features Julia Brown, Tyler Brown, Bob Crongeyer, Larry Dodson, Jessica Gahr, Jeannine Guth, Cindy Hargenader, Abby Preston, Daniel Newbury, and Pam Watkins.
