The 2024 edition of SEC media days is in the books after each of the 16 schools in the expanded conference took their turns at the podium in Dallas, Texas.

Head coach Billy Napier — along with linebacker Shemar James, running back Montrell Johnson Jr. and quarterback Graham Mertz — represented the Gators at the annual event and shared their thoughts with the press on Wednesday. While they all spoke optimistically about the program, the fact remains that Gainesville has not seen a winning season in three years.

Subsequently, the Orange and Blue found itself ranked No. 12 in the Southeastern Conference media poll following the week’s festivities.
