MCKINLEY COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A woman has entered a plea in a robbery case. The crime happened in 2021.

Amber Yazzie, of Gamerco, 29, is accused of entering an insurance company in Gallup, with two other people, while brandishing a firearm. She reportedly yelled at employees for money, threatened them, and shot the gun into the ceiling. Yazzie and the other people fled to Albuquerque.

Court records alleged they went shopping with the money at a mall. Receipts and surveillance footage document this.
