A 7-Eleven in Cumberland County that was delayed for over a year as the developer struggled to obtain a liquor license is finally opening but without alcohol sales. The store at 151 Gettysburg Pike in Upper Allen Township, featuring a Raise the Roost Chicken & Biscuits kiosk, will open around July 25, said an employee who didn’t want to be identified.

Gettysburg PA—Gettysburg National Military Park (NMP) recognizes the long tradition of parking along the park avenue system to watch the annual Gettysburg Borough fireworks demonstration. MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — After six years of operation, a family-owned brewery in Cumberland County recently announced that it will be closing at the end of this summer. A locally operated brewery with a taproom at 4830 Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg, named Mellow Mink Brewing, announced that they would be closing down at some point later this summer.

When most people think of librarians, they usually think of the people they see checking out books, answering questions at a desk, or presenting a program. Many don’t realize that there’s also a team of staff and volunteers working behind the scenes, ensuring that our new books can be discovered through our online catalog and on our bookshelves. Technical Services is a department located within the Adams County Library System at Gettysburg that is responsible for cataloging and processing all of the new books that are circulated at our six branches.
