Gettysburg National Military Park Announces Road Closures During the Annual Gettysburg Area Fireworks Demonstration
Gettysburg PA—Gettysburg National Military Park (NMP) recognizes the long tradition of parking along the park avenue system to watch the annual Gettysburg Borough fireworks demonstration. We will continue to participate with our community in this event and ask the public to respect closures of select roadways and park rules to ensure the safety of visitors and park resources. When most people think of librarians, they usually think of the people they see checking out books, answering questions at a desk, or presenting a program. Many don’t realize that there’s also a team of staff and volunteers working behind the scenes, ensuring that our new books can be discovered through our online catalog and on our bookshelves. Technical Services is a department located within the Adams County Library System at Gettysburg that is responsible for cataloging and processing all of the new books that are circulated at our six branches.
