Gettysburg baseball team honored for academics
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Gettysburg baseball team was honored for its academic success by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) on Wednesday. The Bullets were among the 181 Division III teams with a combined team grade-point average of at least 3.0. Gettysburg was one of seven Centennial Conference team recognized.

Toms River softball team loses state championship to the rules
Toms River and Hanover were playing for a state championship. The game was called when a lightning sensor went off.
