63-year-old Oswego County motorcyclist dies after trying to avoid dog in road, troopers say
Redfield, N.Y. — A 63-year-old man died Thursday in Oswego County when he lost control of his motorcycle while trying to avoid hitting a dog, troopers said. Dale W. Thomas, of Sandy Creek, was riding his black 2007 Harley Davidson on County Route 17 in Redfield around 9:49 a.m. when a dog entered the road, according to Trooper Jennifer Jiron, speaking for the New York State Police.
