    Troy man charged after alleged Gillett burglary

    GILLETT, Pa. ( WETM ) — A Troy man is facing multiple charges after allegedly breaking into a Gillett home and stealing alcohol.

    Tyler Brown, 19, turned himself in after a burglary investigation. According to the Pennsylvania State Police Department, Brown broke into a South Creek Township house and stole four bottles of Crown Royal and three bottles of alcohol mixers on June 17.

    Brown was charged with burglary of overnight accommodations with a person present (a first-degree felony), criminal trespass (a second-degree felony), and seven counts of theft by unlawful taking (a first-degree misdemeanor).

    After Brown turned himself in, he was arraigned and taken to the Bradford County Prison. Brown is currently being held at the jail on $70,000 bail.
