    Farmers' Hash Brown Casserole

This yummy farmers' hash brown casserole is a versatile dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. Packed with savory flavors and hearty ingredients, it is sure to satisfy your cravings.

    Ingredients:

    • 4 cups (about 4 medium potatoes) grated potatoes, browned
    • 6 large eggs, scrambled
    • 1 pound of bacon, fried and crumbled
    • 2 cups of your preferred cheese
    • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon of seasoning salt
    • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
    • Canola oil for browning the hash browns

    Instructions:

Begin by washing, peeling, and grating 4 medium potatoes.

In a large non-stick skillet, heat a small amount of canola oil and add the grated potatoes. Sprinkle onion powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper. Stir, and cover the skillet with a lid. Cook the hash browns for several minutes, then stir and set aside. I generally cook mine for about 8 minutes, then stir and flip them. For this particular recipe, you'll want the grated potatoes to brown but kind of stay separated. Not formed in any shape.)

In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crisp, then drain excess grease on a paper towel-lined plate.

Scramble the eggs in the skillet, cooking until done.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

In a 9x13-inch casserole dish, layer half of the cooked hash browns, followed by bacon and cheese. Add a layer of scrambled eggs, then another layer of hash browns, bacon, and cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.

Serve hot and enjoy the delicious flavors of this farmers' hash brown casserole.
