Delicious cheesy striploin steak and potato wraps

Looking for a tasty meal idea using just one striploin steak? How about creating 4 to 6 cheesy striploin and potato wraps that are sure to satisfy the whole family? These wraps are not only flavorful but also easy to make.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 12–14 ounce, 3/4"–1" thick striploin beef steak
    • 3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fry shapes
    • Garlic and herb seasoning, to taste
    • Seasoning salt, to taste
    • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    • 4 to 6 slices of American cheese
    • 4 to 6 soft-shell flour tortillas
    • Canola oil for frying the potatoes, plus 1 tablespoon to sear the steak

    Instructions:

To begin, peel, wash, and cut the potatoes into french fry shapes. Season the potatoes with garlic and herb seasoning, seasoning salt, and freshly ground black pepper to your liking.

In a large skillet, heat enough canola oil to fry the potatoes. Once the oil is hot, add the potatoes and fry them over medium-high heat until they are tender and crispy.

In a separate skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of canola oil. Season the steak with the spices on both sides, then sear the steak over medium-low heat, flipping as needed.

Once the steak is seared, transfer it to a cutting board. Slice the steak into thin strips, then cut the strips into thin French fry shapes. Return the steak pieces to the skillet and continue cooking until done to your preference.

Place the steak strips on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Remove the excess grease from the skillet and return the meat to the skillet. Top the meat with cheese, and cover the skillet with a lid to melt the cheese.

Remove the french fries from the oil once they are crispy and place them on a paper towel-lined plate.

To assemble the wraps, place about 6 french fries, 6 pieces of cooked steak, and some of the melted cheese in the center of each flour tortilla. Wrap the tortillas in an envelope, just like you'd make a burrito.

    Serve and enjoy!
