How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies Without an Oven

Are you yearning for something sweet but hesitant to heat up the oven in the midst of summer? Fear not, as it is indeed possible to craft delectable homemade cookies from scratch right on your stovetop. The key lies in utilizing a high-quality non-stick skillet. Allow me to guide you through the process!

    Chocolate chip cookie dough ingredients:

    • 1 cup of softened butter
    • 1 cup of packed Splenda brown sugar blend
    • 1/2 cup of granulated Splenda, granulated monk fruit, or granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract
    • 2 3/4 cups of oat flour, or all-purpose flour
    • 1 (12-ounce) package of dark chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of softened butter, 1 cup of packed Splenda brown sugar blend, and 1/2 cup of granulated Splenda, granulated monk fruit, or granulated sugar. Mix the ingredients together well.

Next, add 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract, and 2 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour to the sweetened butter mixture. Mix well.

Stir in 1 (12-ounce) package of dark chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Refrigerate the dough for about 10 to 30 minutes.

Select a nonstick skillet to prepare your cookies in. This will prevent the cookies from adhering to the pan.

Place several cookie dough balls into the cool skillet. Press the dough lightly down. Cover the pan and cook the cookies for about 7 to 8 minutes per side over low heat. Remember to flip them once to achieve a uniform golden-brown hue on both sides.

Remove the skillet from the burner and allow the cookies to partially cool in the skillet before removing them with a spatula.

In a short span of time, you will have at your disposal scrumptious stovetop chocolate chip cookies that boast a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The cherry on top? You didn't even require an oven or baking sheets to whip them up!
