    The Crawford County fair fun kicks off in Girard

    CRAWFORD COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) -- Fair season continues with the Crawford Country fair kicking off today, July 31, in Girard.

    Several events will be taking place throughout the week. Here's what is starting today at the fairgrounds.

    Wednesday, July 31

    • 4-H and open class activites
    • Angels Cafe opens at 6 a.m. for breakfast, 11 a.m. for lunch.
    • Barnyard Olympics and Cornhole at 3 p.m.
    • Food vendors
    • Carnival kicks off at 6 p.m.
    • Music on the Midway with Bourbon County Revival at 7 p.m.
    • Rodeo at 8 p.m.

    Carnival Prices:

    • CASH ONLY
    • Armbands: $30 each
    • Tickets: $1.25 each
      • 22 Tickets for $25
      • 45 tickets for $50
