    Glastonbury police: Student threatened school from another’s account

    GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A 16-year-old illegally accessed a student’s Discord account and then sent messages threatening specific students at Glastonbury High School — all as part of a plot to target the real account holder, according to police.

    The teen, who has not been publicly named by police, was charged on Monday with second-degree intimidation based on bias or bigotry, first-degree threatening, computer crime, criminal impersonation, second-degree breach of peace, second-degree harassment and first-degree falsely reporting an incident. The juvenile has been turned over to court authorities.

    The teen referenced hate groups on the Discord page, made a bomb threat directed at Glastonbury High School and sent death threats to some students, according to police. T

    The real suspect didn’t have access to guns or explosives, according to police. The students named in the posts have been notified.
