WILKES-BARRE — Boozy B’s, a popular alcohol infused ice cream shop downtown, announced Tuesday that it will be closing its doors on Aug. 24. The St. Joseph Marello parish festival is next weekend and the first thing I plan on eating when I arrive Friday evening is an Egg McMuffin. Okay, it won't be a traditional McDonald's Egg McMuffin, but that's the best way to explain it. It's a pepper, egg and cheese sandwich on a fresh roll. Piano students present spring recital
Piano students of Mary Jane Kotansky, Mountain Top piano instructor, presented their spring piano recitals at The First Welsh Baptist Church in Plymouth on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5. Students performed a variety of pieces, which included classical, jazz, traditional, sacred, popular and classic rock. Jake Marich, member of the 2024 Crestwood High School graduating class, was honored at the recital. Also recognized during the recital were students who participated in the 2024 Cynonfardd Eisteddfod held on Saturday, April 27 in Edwardsville.
