Settlement Reached in Split Rock Resort Timeshare Lawsuit
Attorney General Michelle Henry announced a legal settlement with Split Rock Resort’s owners, Split Rock Investments, LLC, and SCH USA, LLC, for alleged consumer mistreatment related to timeshare sales. The lawsuit, filed by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, accused the resort of violating state Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Laws by denying timeshare owners property access and imposing excessive fees.

Pennsylvania Establishes Specialized Office for Dementia Care Coordination

Three men arrested on riot charges after altercation leads to shots fired in Columbia Co.
COLUMBIA COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Three Columbia County relatives were arrested on riot charges following a violent altercation on March 28. On April 5, Berwick Police arrested Paul F. Bartlow (26), Paul E. Bartlow Jr. (55) and Benjamin Bartlow (25) on multiple charges including a felony charge of riot/intent to commit a felony.

Second storm brings new power outages and road obstructions in Conshohocken, Plymouth, and Whitemarsh
Not all of the power outages from the storm that passed through the July 16th had been resolved when a second storm hit the area during the afternoon on July 17th. In Conshohocken, the storm knocked a tree into a home and into the street along West Elm Street. That didn’t result in a power outage, but the tree is touching the wires.
