The Lakeside Polo Club in Lakeside, California, is set to host the highly anticipated Buddy Combs International Arena Polo Challenge on Friday, October 4. This event will feature a thrilling match between Team USA and Team India under the arena lights.

The USA team, seeking redemption after a narrow loss to Guatemala in the 2023 challenge, includes players David Brooks, Robbie Pizzaro, Nicole Bankhead, and alternate Spencer Hurtt. The showdown with India follows a recent victory for the USA at an international tournament in Hyderabad.

Nicole and Darin Bankhead of Lakeside Polo Club expressed their excitement, highlighting the event as a chance to elevate the local polo scene and introduce more fans to the sport. USPA arena committee chair Robin Sanchez also praised the event, emphasizing its role in fostering international camaraderie and showcasing the sport in San Diego County.
