Discount retailer with familiar name to open new California store in heart of Silicon Valley

San Jose is set to welcome a new Burlington store later this September, adding to the national discount retailer's growing presence. "Our goal is to continue to offer area residents low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home," said Burlington CEO Michael O’Sullivan. Burlington, formerly Burlington Coat Factory, operates over 1,000 stores nationwide and is expanding its footprint across the U.S.

To celebrate the grand opening, Burlington will offer special promotions: the first 100 customers on Friday and Saturday will receive $10 toward their purchase, and on Sunday, free umbrellas will be given away while supplies last. Shoppers can look forward to discovering big savings on a wide range of products.
