McDonald's debuts Mini McFlurry, a pint-sized version of frozen sweet treat

McDonald's is giving its popular McFlurry a fresh look with the introduction of a new Mini McFlurry, set to hit participating restaurants across the U.S. starting September 10, 2024. This smaller serving of the beloved frozen treat will come in classic flavors like OREO® and M&M’S®, as well as seasonal specials, offering fans a new way to enjoy their favorite indulgence.

The Mini McFlurry is designed to cater to those who prefer a lighter option or a quick afternoon pick-me-up. It’s also a perfect solution for sharing with a friend who always wants "just a bite"—no extra spoon needed.

In addition to the new size, McDonald's is also making strides in sustainability by phasing out plastic lids for McFlurry cups. Both the Mini and Regular McFlurry will now be served in an environmentally friendly four-flap cup. This change is part of McDonald's broader commitment to reducing waste and achieving its goal of sourcing 100% of primary guest packaging from renewable, recycled, or certified materials by the end of 2025.
