Bloomington will begin installing sensors around the city on Monday to measure heat and prevent related health issues. Data from the 13 sensors will inform the city where to focus heat mitigation. 23 year-old Bloomington man found dead in Owen County. The Owen County Sherrif’s Department has announced the death of 23 year-old Malik Sims, of Bloomington. Sims’ body was found on Monday on a gravel road near the Monroe and Owen County border. There is little which has been released regarding the incident at this point, including the cause of death. Any information which might be helpful in the ongoing investigation should be directed toward the Owen County Sherrifs Department.
