    4 teens charged in break-in, police chase in Graham

    GRAHAM, N.C. (WGHP) — Four teenagers are being charged as the result of a vehicle break-in and police chase, according to the Graham Police Department.

    At around 1 a.m. on Monday, officers came to Watercourse Circle after getting a report of a vehicle break-in in progress.

    Power outages affect parts of Burlington

    When officers arrived at the scene, they saw the suspect vehicle leaving the apartment complex.

    Police say they tried to pull the car over, However, the driver failed to comply and a brief chase took place.

    The chase ended after officers used a tire deflation device.

    Kaiyona Mone Prevard, 18, of Raleigh, has been arrested and is charged with felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. She is being held in the Alamance County Detention Center on a $5,000 secured bond.

    Three juveniles, ages 15-17, were also in the stolen car and are being charged on a juvenile petition.
